The Cursed Sea
Role
In this project my role was making the gameplay, I have mostly been busy making the character and the animations, and the camera’s, but because of a lack of time we chose to scrap it.
I have also been busy making the cannons, I made it possible that you can choose what side of cannons you wanna choose, left cannons or right cannons. And last I have been busy making the UI for the game.
Work period
This project took place in a period of 6 weeks which we devided into sprints of 2 weeks.
This was our first project where we used SCRUM
Team
Our team consisted of 2 developers and 3 .
Idea
Our theme was the myth of The Flying Dutchman. Because of that we instantly thought of boat fight games, so that made us think of games like Sea of Thieves and Assassins Creed: Black Flag, so we started of with a take on Sea of Thieves but we had too little time, so we then started going more for a Black Flag game, and we had in mind that the boss was The Flying Dutchman.
